The night before last...our dog started to bark it was about 11 p.m. ...so because of our incident I tend to take an over anxious interest....eventually I have to get up and look around inside...of course not expecting anyone !!!!! but I just have to just in case...Tony sleeps through everything and I hate to wake him as his days are so busy and I have noticed that he is tired...anyway nothing is there...but I'm awake and I can tell that I probably won't just drift of....so I took a sleeping pill...as I was about to join those in slumber land..Hector starts to bark again and just wouldn't stop...so up I get and I notice that the front door is open !!!!! boy did I yell out to Tony and he sure jumped out of bed...he grabs the torch and of we went ..no not we.... he went... I stayed hiding with my head out of the corridor..just in case I had to save him.!!!! he said no nothing is there..so we went back to bed..he said the door must have opened due to the wind as the flyscreen was still locked ...ok I said he is asleep within a minute....NOT ME I lay there thinking, thinking, was the key still in the flyscreen door ...was the laptop still where it should be...etc etc... so what else can one do but go and check these things out ..now I'm fully awake again.........yes the key is still there ..yes the laptop is still there and all seems as it should be..hmmmmmm she thinks better take another sleeping pill as I am fully awake and it is way past midnight.......Well I sure slept...most of the following day as well..I just could not wake up and when I did all I could think of was putting my head down again...even last night at the Family History Centre..I was hanging out to get home and go to bed.....today I feel better but I could go down and have a little kip!!!!!!
Yesterday during the day...out of nowhere the front door opens all by itself...think something is up with the lock...No we don't live in a haunted house. I noticed that a little part of the door latch has come off.
It is very exciting to do your Family History...thanks to Sue I am back in the 1400 on two of my lines...AMAZING isn't it.
You will be super alert for a while yet, but "this too shall pass", had to laugh about the sleeping tablets - been there done that !!! xxx
