All morning

I put all our Christmas decorations away and our home looks so bare now.... Not festive anymore....it will take a little while to get used to again.
I do love Christmas so much..... It's been a wonderful time I enjoyed it all.
I wonder now what is in store for 2013
I feel excited for the new year have set some goals and feel pretty determined to keep.

I had whitened all around my eyes and had the tshirt on myself when Tone came out of the bathroom...we certainly had a big laugh ....he has worn it all day.....have had the Best Christmas Eve and Day although I feel exhausted we are now waiting for the evening people to come ...got to go and and have a lay down...everyone was here last night it was the first time for ages that the whole family have been together...wonderful 

Tony and I were the Elfs singing some funny words to some old Christmas songs in an Elf voice.....the microphones changes your natural voice into sounding like Elf Voices...very funny and then we broke into doing a Ganghan Style dance...of course everyone laughed...see what happens tonight.....will put photo's up later of the whole family......

We were delighted to pick these from only a few plants....I love beans particularly in a Chicken Curry I do.....It sure gives one much satisfaction...

Absolutely adored and perfect in every way ....what a little blessing she is...children make the Parent....might be a funny statement to make ......of course having children makes one a Parent ...but becoming a parent in the true sense of the word takes so much more...this little one has brought her own special magic xxx

An early Family Christmas

Yesterday we had our Family and the Brooks Family over for lunch there were 31 in all and it was surely a house full....it was a wonderful day to catch up with my Family...great food ..great company.. exhausted today.....but loved it all

Perfect Antedote

Oh my I don't mind a little bit of CRICKET !!!! But I don't like listening to it ALL the time...so I have my ipod on...and I am singing my head of to each fabulous song....of course I don't have a beautiful voice...but oh what joy......I keep finding more things to put up for Christmas so the house looks even more PURFICK!!!

Lights everywhere only on the inside as I do it for us and anyone who comes into our Home.....Sarah Brighton is on now and I just sound like her...in my head that is...Poor Tony to hear this terrible croak !!!!

 He is cutting up a leg of ham so far it's taken him an hour !!!! yep it's a big one.... have family and Eddy's Family coming tomorrow so I bought enough for then and Christmas...he has the Turkey to do next...his a good Man..... I finished my jobs I think I will go and have a lie down.....or maybe I should go and help him hmmmm !!!!!

Not the same

Since this really dreadful virus I am not the same...and I am grieving.....tired so easily not a normal tired but an unable to even walk properly tired........ so many little things I still cough .... my back aches, vision is blurred sometimes and on and on...today is a rest day for me although I have pottered around a lot....so hard to do nothing as my house has so many loose ends that need attending...so it's rest and up and do something that I want to do then rest again.....I want my old life back !!!!! I believe I'm not the only one who is suffering with this........ I feel for you.

Sooo Busy

Last week was crazy..... too much on and this week is starting a bit the same....... Oh well.
What can you do..... I feel so very tired and just want to go to sleep for a few more hours...but then again I am happy to be able to do some service.....Get a little more of that Christmas Spirit...Our Home has it,... now I need to get a bigger dose of it.
We had a lovely surprise visit from some dear friends and they ended up having dinner with us...you know it was such a simple meal a bit of cooked chicken a little salad and a few boiled potatoes...and it just tasted wonderful....best kind of meal as it was not planned not hard work nor over thinking about a special tasty meal...but very much appreciated.
Of to take Little Naomi to School then go and pick Nanna up and take her to a special Christmas function in Armadale.

Santa has fallen in the Tree

Oh the joy of seeing the little ones faces as we saw them looking at this scene....Pene and Naomi said who is in your Tree Grandma..hmmm it looks like Santa has fallen in....no said Pene ....it's not real !!! Jac today told his Sister an elaborate story about the Ceiling opening up Santa coming in and then fell into Grandma's Tree and the ceiling closed...... You know me I am always looking for something differant ...to surprise my Grandchildren ......It's the Magic of Christmas that flows through my bones.......This idea I got of Pinterest Great Site for ideasHard work...but all worth it x

Wow sometimes fings Appen !!!!

So far Rhys has been in Hospital twice and has had loads of tests...Katie his Mum has been in Hospital as well. Both doing well now...... We were soooo impressed with the interaction amongst Katie and Court's children...I saw nothing but service and loving care for each other not ONE  cross word in doing anything for each other not even a whisper of anything being too much ....Jazzy was the Mum for awhile.....Both Tony and I commented on it........Not easily achieved I feel....so good on you as parents you two.......
Jacob has cracked his Vertebra .....feel so bad as I asked the kids last Sunday to clean up all the toys that they had been playing with and he said that he couldn't bend over as it hurt his back....and I thought oh he just doesn't want to do it....so said come on Jac...help like all the other kids....ohhhhh poor kid...he is now not allowed to run jump or bend in a certain way or play any sport for 2 months.... and longer for some other things...
He is spending the day with me...so lucky me ...love it xx
 oh yes nearly forgot my friend tripped over and broke her shoulder....having pins put in on Monday poor darling !!!!

I am always looking for new things to do for Christmas...... I get so very excited about creating a certain Christmas feeling in our home.
I was out with my beautiful Grandson ....my favourite 14 year old Grandson Rhys.
I took him up the escalator and quickly took this photo with these clear balls hanging of a wreath...(which did not come out very clear) and I embarrassed Rhys to no end.......it made me think of creating my own decoration similar to this..... Hence my creation.....it looks so much better in real life.... I do love the clear balls so much better but to expensive to buy....they did have a gold creation as well not sure why I couldn't download that photo of my Camera...oh well I'm happy ...... love it !!!

It's the 3rd.of Nov. 2012. One week ago it was 35 deg. and today it was 24 deg and raining..... Love the rain but crazy weather.......could not resist this beautiful web.....lucky I caught it.

Oh it's on special!!!

Oh my gosh ......each time I see my hair colour on special ...... Which is $5 cheaper I think YES I will buy it.
Then go home and chuck it in a bin which has my hairdressing stuff in....well the other day I thought it's time to clean out the plastic bin ...... Was I shocked YES !!!! No more special buying for me...... I have my own little shop at home now. Anyone need colour?

Even Though

I really felt unwell yesterday...Tony and I watched 4 Sessions of Conference...I felt so encouraged and uplifted....How truly blessed we are......we have the most amazing people as our Leaders. Thank You Heavenly Father for another most amazing Conference. Proud to Be a Mormon.

No Not over yet !!!

I just could hardly believe it...I was down with this rotten thing all day yesterday....oh my gosh I have never had anything like this...... it was a most miserable day spent in bed hardly being able to move without pain...all I can say is that I have more good days then bad ...so eventually it will all be good days....

First Day

Well this is the first day that I have done a full days work in the house for 13 weeks.....I did have a rest for 3 hours mid afternoon and I had to take a couple of Panadol after the rest to get my body moving ....so I guess it wasn't a full day....but I feel so proud of myself...lets hope that tomorrow I feel good and that I haven't overdone it....Oh my I am so sick of whatever is going on with me......will go to the Dr's this week...keep putting it off...silly me....but I keep hoping that tomorrow I will be well.

Slowly Slowly

No matter how desperate I want to be well I am dictated by it's own pace.......but .it is slowly getting there...I have to plan my day and I can only do things in small doses...... if I do too much I am down for a day or so and nothing I can do about it...... my poor family can hardly understand...but I can't either.....no matter how positive I am.....this is how it is for now....slow pace and limited ability!!!! what a trial this has been...sounds terrible but thank goodness I know someone else with the same thing as I thought that it was just me...I think hers is worse though poor darling.

Just silly things that are unexpected never announced, you just happen to turn around or walk in a room and there he is looking like a dork and so fun...just love him...... we all do, again blessed to have such amazing people in our family..... he is so gifted and a hard worker...always mindful in providing for his family..... 8 men....9 if we count Jord who will be 21 in Feb next year......men that each hold a special place in our hearts......lucky women that we are.
