It's the shade for me !!!!

I've taken Hector for a walk across the road in the bush early in the mornings.....I'm loving it and obviously he does as well, I let him of the leash and he usually stays pretty close by.....but not this morning there were two Kangaroos close by where we were walking and away he and they went......I thought he will just come back when he has done his thing....which he did but it was across the road stopping the traffic....oh my gosh what to do!!! if I call him he could get run over so I just closed my eyes and hoped for the best !!!!! eventually the cars went and I called and he came running up to me so joyfull, I didn't have the heart to get angry....what use anyway he wouldn't have a clue what he has done wrong......
Then another day it was soooo hot and we were out in it...we couldn't find Hector anywhere, we called and called out to him and there he was sitting in the shade...wise little guy.
He is out of sorts at the moment as we have banned him from sitting on the lounge where he loves to look out from the front window....now when we go out I hear him whimper and whatever....because he can't see me........goodness me am I sounding like a a a dog lover !!!! not me I never have been dog crazy...but when I read it it sure sounds like I could be...
