Paintings at New Norcia

On our tour at New Norcia we delighted to see these absolutely magnificent paintings the best Aboriginal paintings we had ever seen...I wish I could remember the painter...I know it is a lady I believe her first name wa Margaret ?.....each picture depicts a Season....Aboriginals have 2 months per Season...the first one starting February and March and so on.....the first painting is Feb March. My Photography does not do it justice !!


Gosh we could have sat there for ages...well I could...... Not sure Tony could have....... I loved the detail in each painting...might go back there...... What I need is to get a Photography Buddy. 

 

 

 

 

 

Wide Angle Lens

One of my loves is my Camera...... My Christmas present this year was a wide angle lens..... I thought I would try it out, when was Tony cutting down our bush out front....I stood in the same spot and took the same photo...it sure is wider....and I'm happy girl !!

Wish it was different...but that is how it is today...I support those that protect our  lives and land.....I'm an Aussie and proud of it....although I have corner of my heart which is Dutch.
