Previous Photo's

The three photo's come from My friend Gayle's blog.... just loved the whole weekend..... I and another Stake R.S. President had met Sister Dew with Sister Smoot in Utah in the General R.S.Offices in the year 2000...here in the photo below I asked her if she remembered me.....of course I really did not expect her to...which is totally fine with me....I thanked her for coming to Australia and we had a wonderful hug...it was such a joy for me to see her again.

My experience with Time our for Women Sydney

How lucky am I to have had such a marvelous weekend with my darling friend.......I was picked up by Gayle's Son who ..... was so very good to us and made sure that we had all we needed to get on our Flight....I  thought how wonderful and caring.
Our flight was smooth and exciting and with full anticipation .....as we travelled.
We had a great Room in a Great old House with the best Care takers..... Gayle made sure that my Boarding Ticket was all sorted out which was the one thing I worried about.....A superb friend indeed....Rob the owner or runner of the Lodge we stayed in was such a character..... one that I enjoyed....he could seem a bit abrupt to some but I loved his manner and care he gave us.
Gayle and I had the funniest experience with our mobile phones ...it just would not sound funny if I tried to explain it.....but we laughed so much that tears were rolling down our eyes. Suffice it to say that we sat there on the Ferry like two silly elderly Ladies !!!!
We caught the on off bus and had a wonderful tour through Sydney and stopped at Queen Victoria Shopping Complex.....oh my what a building.....breath taking ....but expensive ..... a bag that we looked at cost over $500 .....I don't think that our Husbands would have approved haha.
The next day was Convention and I found myself enjoying every bit of it...loved seeing women not having seen each other for ages greeting each other with so much love...about 2,500 of them.
I learnt a lot from the Speakers and came out of there with renewed courage and determination to do better in my life.
I would do it again in a heartbeat
Gayle went on to stay with her daughter and family in Canberra which was wonderful for her and them but before we parted ...... I again felt so well cared for by Gayle's children as Elissa didn't just drop me off but came inside with me ...
Forgot to write that on the Friday in Sydney......neither Gayle nor I bought anything.....that just wouldn't do. We ended up in a Chemist that night and came across the nicest earings which were really cheap....we happily each bought a pair...ahhh that felt better can't go on a day out in a Big City and not buy something !!!
Back home now and feel wonderful and so grateful.
