Blessed through Kindness
We were so touched with the kindness of our family and loving friends.......Most of our family came around to show their concern, check up on us and to cheer us up........ we had cakes and a meal dropped off by wonderful people that were thinking of us.....phone calls and emails. Thank You....it made our hearts feel lighter and we felt cared about and loved.......Little Naomi touched my heart so much....she told her Mum to write down exactly what she wanted to say...and it's so precious that I want to immortalize it through my blog......' I LOVE YOU GRANDMA, PLEASE DON'T BE SAD YOU MIGHT GET YOUR CAR BACK. I'M NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING BUT THINK OF GRANDMA TODAY. I WON'T EAT OR PLAY OR DO ANYTHING, I'LL JUST HELP GRANDMA, I CAN HELP" She has just turned four, with it came some beautiful drawings, I could not read it without crying and then she gave me 15 cents her only money. I am stumped to adequately express how I feel about her letter and gift...... This is so Tongan...they would give everything they had and shed tears with you...when such a thing happens...not that little children wouldn't do this anyway, but over and over I found this attitude when I was in Tonga...... I love how all our little ones gave us special hugs and we could feel and see their concern for Grandma and Papa, it all really made a difference....... Yesterday we spent the day just lounging around...... It's amazing how such an event can affect one......... but all in all....we have it good compared to many. So with grateful hearts, we start afresh....who knows what good will come today. So for us, it's a New Beginning. P.S. Happy to report that Little Naomi didn't hold to the" I'm not going to eat"
