Red Hat

I had my own little red hat outing hahaha.
Tony left this morning, we had to leave home 4.30 am....it was freezing !!!!!
I have never been a hat person...something to do with flattening my hair I think...I had bought a red hat
for an outing I never went on.....that's a whole other story in itself.
but there it was hanging on a hook a wonderful warm RED Beanie.....perfect I thought....
must have looked strange as I covered both ears and I looked like a rose bud...big one that is.
I was warm and my Tony didn't care.
The Airport is a like a major City ....even that early in the morning...cars being parked .....working men and women  being dropped off on both major airlines  as well as private planes landing and taking off in another section as well......planes taking off every few minutes...it's something else....
Now about my Red Hat thing....for some reason I just can't get my head around joining, even though I do need to get involved in some other activities in my life.......what is it.... that is such a big thing for me....I look at all the Red Hatters and admire them and hear about some fun things they do...but me wearing a red hat and being in that group as one is a huge thing for me....wonder why? My girls encourage me and tell me it's a good thing....is it that I hate getting older.....which I do....I guess I will figure it out maybe you could help me with a suggestion or two.  
Thinking about it I would go with them if I didn't have to wear a red hat or wear purple.....so that I am not being counted as one of them.......oooohhhh I do have a problem.

Jordan Kyros in Perth Thunder

 

I just finished writing a whole speel on this blog but it didn't come up...anyway Tony and I went to see Jord play last Saturday and really was so exciting ....They played against Adelaide which Jack our son said is one of the best teams in Australia WE WON 3/2  Funny isn't it but when your Grandson is playing or anyone you know really that is the only person you see on the Court or whatever they are participating in....Ice Hockey players only stay on the Rink for about 3 to 4 minutes and then another lot come on for the same time...it is so full on and they use so much energy playing
This is the first season that Perth have put in a team..
Jord wil go back to Finland in about August when the Hockey season in Australia ends so he actually plays all year around.
Just in case you can't read what he has said ....he was asked who his role model is and he said it was his Dad....how wonderful good on ya Jack...Jord is someone you can really be proud of...we all are.

I love what she does and it gives me ideas on what I want to do on my projects.

Bok Choy

I let it grow to big and it doesn't taste nice but it sure looks lovely 

 

The little plant is how it should be...oh I am not a gardener...I don't even like it I just want everything to look tidy around the house...... I still plant purely because I feel I have to. 

No Luck

Yes, the children did stay out in the playroom a little longer ....but they still played out in other rooms...I have figured it out...... It is that they want to be where we are....so what can you do....nothing of course....but be grateful that they still want to be close to us. You can imagine though that the house feels a little like a tornado has gone through it when there are 13 children all under the age of 10. AND it is raining.
But the girls are marvelous...they all clean up after..... Nic even came over and vacuumed this morning and cleaned my toilet......little boys !!!!

Yum!!! And Enjoyable

I am sitting here and am eating cherries and watching a wonderful rendition of the Phantom of the Opera.... In the Royal Albert Hall.......Really really wonderful.....pity I am here by myself..... Had enough of these weekends alone.

I layed this in about 1/2 hour

I asked the little ones why they never played out in this play room...they said it's cold Grandma...so of I went to Bunnings where Katie had told me of these carpet squares....I brought 3 packets and a few extra and put them directly onto the paving floor they look great...I didn't need glue of any sort and they don't slide....I have already vacuumed them and no worries...so I am a happy little vegemite....see if this will entice the Grandchildren back into the room where all their toys are.....Tony will be surprised...he always says he never know what he is coming home to !!!!! I seem to make some change everytime he goes away.... 

 

Jubilee

I have watched all that I can celebrating the Queen's Jubilee...I really have loved it....I do admire her and have loved hearing the admiration her Grandchildren have for her...she's Granny to them and that sounded so normal.

Sad

Today and yesterday was and is sad.....all to do with one of my Son's.... who is airing some very crazy and disturbing things on Face book...I am VERY worried about him.

This long looking hat thingy is actually a little Caboose where you can put your Baby in...Clever hey !! 

Another Card for a 80 yr old Lady I was very Happy to find this Photo Frame on my Camera. 

This inside bit is called a water fall...you pull down the bottom tab to reveal each picture...I have done this and it really is fun to do... and spectacular to look at.
