May seem strange but I LOVE leafless tree's as Sharli so aptly put it it's like a big hug.....oh so true Sharli that is exactly what they are to me.

Took the girls to Noble Falls

I wondered how different it would be when I took the girls out to the same place I took the boys just a few days earlier.....I was surprised...not much except the noise level in the car they all want to talk at once and a bit of ohh thats not fair !!! she talked first the last time..as I played a game of Guess What Favourite colour, food etc each one has.....They loved catching Tadpoles and actually did better then the boys...only because they found a pond that was drying up and wanted to save the eventual death of these little tadpoles/fish or whatever they are and put them in larger pools of water...not sure that the boys even thought of the little fish's plight...Pene was our Photographer and loved it...it's such a beautiful spot out here and we and one other family were the only ones there...actually they offered the girls an icypole which was so very kind as it was a really hot day....It was such a good day...I'de have to say it is one of my favourite spots....Cannot beat Nature oh I've gone purple wonder what I've done ..oh well

My Cousin Irma

This is my Cousin who has just passed away on the 25th January 2013...Sad day and very sad  for her Sister Paula...I spent several hours with her today...she is the only relative other then my brother who lives in W. Australia... It was only a year ago that she lost her dear Husband of 52 years plus it was their wedding Anniversary plus Irma was being Cremated today...Paula is so very dear to me and the least I could do was visit her...I was very apprehensive driving by myself to HallsHead..never done it before but of course it was fine...Paula is such a strong Lady... I love her...nothing really is too much to do for her...I was so astounded to bump into our friend Reg....would love to have visited them but I only had a few hours as I wanted to get back before 4 ...I have some little girls sleeping over tonight and taking all the little girls on a picnic tomorrow.... p.s. When Paula and I were in the Restaurant I bumped into another friend from Perth.... Small World !

A Day with the boys at Noble Falls

Last Monday we took the boys to Noble Falls not that far from us...what a great day it was packed a Picnic Lunch and off we went..the boys were just great they are so easy to care for, they entertain themselves and it was just wonderful to see them all get along, they were looking and catching tadpoles and there were many of them Jac was the best catcher he just had the nack !!! however that is spelt....Tony said to me I bet Kobi will be the first to fall in and he was Caleb next then Manly...it was fine as long as they didn't get their head under which they didn't..... we discovered that Manly has a little hobby of collecting bottle tops and so there was a great search for them....I think they collected 30 odd..It's a lovely place and usually in Winter the water flows over the part where Manly and Caleb were running across.
Manly was the looker out for the Tadpoles he found a nice little nook in the hollow of the tree and perched himself around it and pointed to where the taddy's were...Tony and he went for a little walk across the bridge and onto the other side...saw some lovely trees as you can see.
We had Mc Donalds for Tea.....suited me fine as long as it wasn't Mac Donalds Kitchen...Little Anthony came over later and they all had a swim in the Spa...Anthony even put his head under water because all the big boys were doing it.....They watched the Chipmunks movie and off to sleep..The next day the boys played with some gun type thing that shoots out round discs ...for hours so easy to look after boys..... before I took them home they all wanted a certain hairstyle which actually they created by swishing their hair back in the spa and then I had to put spray and mousse on to have it stick up...Kobs had his own great style
Fabulous time wanted to write about it today...help me feel a little better then I'm feeling I have just heard that a Cousin in Holland died and I do feel sad....... good to focus on a happy time which it was... Girls Thursday think I might take them to the same spot or maybe not can't see them being excited about Tadpoles maybe Lake Lechenaultia ...I know I have spelt this wrong as well...just can't seem to spell these days...hate getting old !!! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Australia Day and the day after

Oh yes here we are sitting on our Shed roof watching the Fireworks from Perth and we could see them from the Race Track Tony said he will strengthen the roof from underneath and put some barricades around the edges of the roof...then next year I will have a go at sitting up there....

Here Sione is playing horsey on our walk at one stage all his kids were sitting on the back of the stick...I tell you there is always something that he sees from things we would walk past to entertain himself and kids....Now Anthony always looks for any stick to play horsey with..even gets one for Papa and Grandma...of course I gently decline his kind offer...what a sight that would be !!!!
